Faye Horne is a singer like no other.

As an accounts assistant, Faye longed to perform. So, when X-Factor gave her the opportunity to audition, she jumped at the chance. She first started singing at the age of 13, in her local church choir. It was her grandmother who noticed her immense talent, and encouraged her to pursue a career as a singer. Faye later appeared in bingo halls and clubs, cultivating her talent and on-stage persona during her early career.
Season thirteen wasn’t the first time that Faye auditioned for the X-Factor. At the age of 19, she auditioned in 2011 with the song She Said by Plan B. Though she wasn’t initially successful, Faye’s drive and determination led her to audition again a few years later, with Sam Smith’s song, Writing on the Wall. Returning to the competition with a fiery passion, she blew the judges away and soared through boot camp to the judges' houses.
